dj ShmeeJay‘s Ain’t No Big Thing radio show, live on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from 8pm – 10pm (PST) / 11pm – 1am (EST) on BoxFrequency.fm.

This episode I host Amsterdam, Netherlands based deejay and producer Olivier Boogie. Olivier’s musical tendencies relates back to legendary Amsterdam dj’s like Rednose Distrikt and KC The Funkaholic crew who introduced him to house music. He’s won a place at the Red Bull Music Academy, released a slew of records on Rush Hour, Lumberjacks in Hell, Whiskey Disco and Up My Alley, among others. Oliver’s played shows all around the world and has enjoyed residencies at every club in Amsterdam that has a half decent or adventurous music policy. Counting having had one of his tracks edited by Laurent Garnier as a highlight of his musical career so far, 2015 he’ll be stepping it up again, making music for the world to listen to while dancing, cycling or not to listen to at all….

This episode I host Iceland born, Oslo-based, music man B.G. Baarregaard. B.G. has accomplished many a milestone in his short, meteoric, rise to modern disco fame. His productions are championed by the likes of Harvey, Dimitri from Paris, Greg Wilson and Sleazy McQueen and released by labels such as Whiskey Disco, Paper Recordings and Editorial Records, routinely topping sales charts the world over. As a DJ, he’s a regular fixture among European hot spots from Bergen to Oslo to his hometown, Reykjavik as well as numerous other locales. In no uncertaion terms, B.G. brings it, and this mix is no exception.

This episode I host Warrington born UK Producer Danny Worrall, aka 80’s Child. Danny is a true Child of the 80’s, born in 1980 and raised by his parents on a strict diet of Toto, Prince, Michael McDonald, Hall & Oates, Michael Jackson and the like. Danny’s edits have grown wilder as he’s experimented, extended and completely re-worked into some of the hottest club edits around over the past couple of years. 2015 has been a stand out year for 80’s Child. Having established himself on the nu-disco & edit scene, supplying some of the standout tracks for the year, he’s started the label Masterworks Music with a whole slew of stand out releases during the past year, and with 2016 going off to a promising start with a 10″ vinyl release scheduled to hit the streets January 16, 2016.
