dj ShmeeJay‘s Ain’t No Big Thing radio show, live on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from 8pm – 10pm (PST) / 11pm – 1am (EST) on BoxFrequency.fm, and with a podcast syndicated on iTunes.

This episode I host Los Angeles based deejay Dino Soccio. LA via Chicago DJ/Producer Dino Soccio creates house and disco records that are reminiscent of the 80s soul/R&B heard on FM radio and passed down mix cassettes. With releases on Razor N Tape, Toolroom, Deep & Disco, and most recently on Mute Records, Soccio is emerging as one of LA’s most promising new dance producers. As a DJ, last year he supported Moon Boots, Penguin Prison, Roy Davis Jr, Hayden James, Satin Jackets, Michael the Lion, and had some of his biggest shows yet last November opening for Bondax on two west coast dates. Tour dates and remix work continue to stack up this new year with remixes on NDYD and Paradise ULTD while opening for Goldroom and french wonder kid FKJ. Soccio’s debut album comes out fall 2017 on Brooklyn label Razor-N-Tape.
