dj ShmeeJay

dj ShmeeJay‘s Ain’t No Big Thing radio show, live on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from 8pm – 10pm (PST) / 11pm – 1am (EST) on BoxFrequency.fm.

This episode i host Leipzig, Germany based producer and deejay Martin Hayes. Martin founded, along with fellas LuvLess, M.ono, Lars and Eva, imprint label called Rose Records. As an “Hymne à l’Amour” from slow mid – range house tempo, the label and its artists quickly gained recognition for pushing boundaries of disco & house to a global message where everything is made out of love and where “La Vie en rose” sits atop their arts and become a vision toward their music. Believing in slower music, like soul and disco tracks mixed with the house music, Martin plays a mixture of house & disco in all its aspects, forming a perfect balance on the dance floor. A tireless vinyl collector from soul, funk, hip hop, house music and disco, his releases reveals the true character of a bottomless skilled producer with records signed to Lazare Hoche Edits, Razor-N-Tape Reserve, Editorial, Pantha Rhei as of course his home base Rose Records.
