A mix brought together in a swirl of inspiration associated with the Mexican celebration of dia de los muertos (Day of the Dead) as well as a radio show that I heard on NPR a few months back. The mix features, mostly, music from dead musicians and songs that are played in a minor key.

Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes – Wake Up Everybody (DJ Apt One Edit)
B.B. King– Better Not Look Down
James Brown – The Boss (Disco Tech Edit)
Bill Withers – Lovely Day (LNTG Remix)
Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell – If This World Were Mine (George Vala Remix)
Louis Armstrong – What A Wonderful World (Spoken Intro 1968)
Whitney Houston – My Love Is Your Love (Jeremy Sole Cumbia Dubplate)
Bee Gees – More Than A Woman (BP‘s ‘Rites Of The Nu Saturday Night’ Edit)
Queen feat. David Bowie – Under Pressure (The Two Mamarrachos Summer 2010 Edit)
6th Borough Project – Just a Memory
Miles Davis & Mark Isham – In Two Silent Ways
